HUMBLE, Texas – The Southern Arkansas University Muleriders Men's Golf team finished their first spring tournament of the season at the Houston Classic in Humble, Texas finishing in 12th place as a team at +40 over par with 904 total strokes.
 
Luke Cote recorded his first top five finish of the season ending the tournament tied for fifth place at -3 under par with 213 total strokes. Cote finished recording rounds of 69, 70, and 74 for the tournament recording 10 birdies in total.
 
Colling Spangler was the next highest finisher for the Muleriders tying for 55th place at +13 over par with 229 total strokes. Carter Bell finished tied for 62nd at +14 over par with 230 total strokes. Will Blake finished the tournament in 85th place at +26 over par with 242 total strokes. Jett Stephenson rounded out the field for the Muleriders tying for 86th at +28 over par with 244 total strokes.
