MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Mulerider Women's Golf team is set to make history with their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Regional Tournament, taking place May 5–7 at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma. Hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma, the tournament will be played on a par-70 course measuring 5,834 yards.

Southern Arkansas enters postseason play ranked No. 83 nationally and No. 14 in the Central Region. The team heads into regional play following an 8th-place finish at the 2025 Great American Conference Golf Championships where SAU posted a three-round total of 975 (+135) with scores of 322-329-324.

Brianna Chamoun and Aubrey Marx led the Muleriders, tying for 24th overall at 238 (+28). Chamoun recorded rounds of 80-80-78 with one birdie, while Marx carded 76-80-82 and notched three birdies. Emma Hester finished tied for 31st at 248 (+38), shooting 81-84-83 and adding a birdie. Taylor-Rose Hubbard tied for 35th with a 252 (+42) after rounds of 85-85-82, also collecting one birdie. Despite being limited by injury, Viviana Farias competed in the final round and shot an 82 (+12), finishing 49th.

Tournament action begins Monday morning (May 5) at the KickingBird Golf Club with all five Muleriders teeing off from hole 10. Emma Hester is first out for Southern Arkansas with an 8:18 a.m. tee time, followed by Viviana Farias at 8:26 a.m., Taylor-Rose Hubbard at 8:34 a.m., Aubrey Marx at 8:42 a.m., and Brianna Chamoun at 8:50 a.m.
