Brinson Rogers Garners NFCA DII Pitcher of the Year Honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – With the conclusion of the 2025 NCAA Division II softball campaign, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its DII Player and Pitcher of the Year honors.

Adding to her list of accolades, Brinson Rogers has now earned the title of the NFCA's Pitcher of the Year for Division II. The Statesboro, Georgia native becomes the first ever pitcher from the Great American Conference to garner the plaudit (Player/Pitcher). In her final year in the Blue and Gold, Rogers finished with a 0.93 ERA (2nd lowest in program history), 233.1 innings pitched (5th most in program history), .149 opposing batting average (lowest in program history), 30 wins (2nd most in program history), 18 shutouts (most in program history), and 309 strikeouts (most in program history). Rogers' 300+ strikeouts made her the only pitcher for Southern Arkansas to eclipse the 300 K mark. She was also just the fifth pitcher for the GAC to claim 30 wins in a single season.

The senior helped lead the Muleriders to a fifth Regular Season Great American Conference title and the program's third GAC Tournament title. Rogers was also a key factor for the program to host its first Central Regional since 2018.

With the NFCA's final awards presented to the public, Rogers finalizes her list of accolades for 2025 as the NFCA DII Pitcher of the Year, NFCA DII First Team All-American, NFCA DII First Team All-Region, 4x NFCA DII National Pitcher of the Week, D2CCA Pitcher of the Year, D2CCA First Team All-American, D2CCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year, D2CCA First Team All-Region, GAC Pitcher of the Year, and 10x GAC Pitcher of the Week.
