MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas University's Women's Tennis team is set to begin its postseason run as the top seed in the 2025 Great American Conference Tennis Championship, held in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Muleriders will open the tournament in the semifinal round, where they will face Ouachita Baptist. The two programs last met during the regular season, with the Muleriders securing a commanding 7-0 sweep. That match saw doubles wins at lines two and three—Amelie Gindl/Maria Fiacan and Roksana Kokocha/Inna Serpukhova—to capture the opening point. The Muleriders then swept all six singles matches, with victories from Gindl (line one), Josie Holderbach (line two), Fiacan (line three), Ifigeneia Kafka (line four), Kokocha (line five), and Honoka Yoshimura (line six).

Southern Arkansas enters the postseason ranked No. 34 in the nation, led by Amelie Gindl, who holds the No. 4 national singles ranking. Josie Holderbach also enters ranked nationally at No. 34.

First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3.
