The Muleriders set the tone early in doubles, earning wins on all three courts. Josie Holderbach and Ifigeneia Kafka notched a 6-4 win at line one, followed by Amelie Gindl and Maria Fiacan's 6-3 victory at line two. Roksana Kokocha and Honoka Yoshimura wrapped up the sweep with a commanding 6-2 result at line three.
Southern Arkansas carried that momentum into singles play, delivering a clean sweep across all six courts. #4Gindl led the charge with a 6-2, 6-2 win at the top spot, while #35 Holderbach followed with a 6-3, 6-0 result at line two. #73 Fiacan cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at line three, and Kafka kept the streak alive with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at line four. Kokocha battled through a third-set super tiebreaker to win 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 at line five, while Camila Corrales closed out the sweep with a 6-2, 6-3 win on court six.
Southern Arkansas improves to 1-0 in GAC play and will return to action at home on Wednesday, April 9, against Ouachita Baptist. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
