Mulerider Women’s Tennis Opens Conference Play on the Road Against Arkansas Tech

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Mulerider Women's Tennis team is set to open Great American Conference play on the road this week, traveling to Russellville to take on Arkansas Tech on Monday (April 7).

Southern Arkansas enters the matchup with an impressive 11-6 overall record. Sophomore Amelie Gindl continues to rise in the national rankings, now sitting at No. 4 in singles. Josie Holderbach is ranked No. 35, while Maria Fiacan holds the No. 73 spot. In doubles play, the duo of Inna Serpukhova and Roksana Kokocha have been dominant this spring, boasting a 10-1 overall record together.

The Golden Suns hold a 5-9 record and are 0-1 in conference action. They are coming off a 7-0 loss to Harding. When these two teams faced off last season, the Muleriders came out on top with a 7-0 sweep in Magnolia.

First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Chartwells Women's Sports Complex in Russellville.
