MAGNOLIA, Ark. — On Senior Day at the Live Oak Tennis Courts, the Mulerider Women's Tennis team delivered a dominant 6-1 victory over Henderson State, clinching the title of sole 2025 Great American Conference Regular Season Champions. This marks the third straight year Southern Arkansas has earned the regular season crown, but the first time since 2019 that they've claimed it outright.
The Muleriders set the tone early by securing the doubles point. The duo of Amelie Gindl and Maria Fiacan rolled to a 6-2 win on court two, while Roksana Kokocha and Inna Serpukhova edged their opponents 7-5 on court three.
In singles play, Fiacan kept the momentum going with a decisive 6-0, 6-2 win at line three. Ifigeneia Kafka followed with a 6-4, 6-2 victory at line four, and #24 Josie Holderbach sealed the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win on court two. From there, #3 Gindl posted a 6-4, 6-2 win at the top spot, and Honoka Yoshimura capped the day with a 7-5, 6-4 result at line six.
The Muleriders now stand at 16-6 overall and a perfect 5-0 in conference play going into postseason action.
Next up: the 2025 Great American Conference Tournament, where Southern Arkansas enters as the top seed. The tournament will take place May 2–4 in Bentonville, Arkansas.
