FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Women's Golf team wrapped up the opening round of the 2025 Great American Conference Championships in seventh place after posting a team score of 322 (+42) at Hardscrabble Country Club on Monday.

Aubrey Marx led the charge for the Muleriders, firing a 76 (+6) to finish the day tied for 8th. Her round featured nine pars and a pair of birdies.

Brianna Chamoun followed with an 80 (+10), placing her tied for 24th after recording 10 pars during her round. Emma Hester sits just behind, tied for 26th, after carding an 81 (+11) that included seven pars.

Rounding out the scoring for Southern Arkansas was Taylor-Rose Hubbard, who finished with an 85 (+15) and eight pars, currently tied for 34th.

The Muleriders will look to climb the leaderboard when round two gets underway Tuesday morning in Fort Smith.
