MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Mulerider Women's Tennis team looks to continue its dominant run as they host Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday, April 19 at the Live Oak Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
Southern Arkansas enters the matchup on a seven-match win streak and boasting a 14-6 overall record. The team has been flawless in conference play, earning sweeps over Arkansas Tech, Ouachita Baptist, and Harding.
Leading the team is Amelie Gindl, who is ranked No. 3 in the latest ITA Singles Rankings. Gindl was recently named GAC Player of the Week after going undefeated in both singles and doubles against the trio of conference rivals. Josie Holderbach is also in the national rankings at No. 25, while the team sits at No. 39 in the nation.
Southeastern Oklahoma comes in with a 13-3 overall record and an unbeaten 3-0 mark in conference play. The last meeting between the two programs came in the GAC Championship match last season, where Southeastern earned a 4-0 victory.
