Marx Claims First Collegiate Victory as Muleriders Finish T2 at Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational

EDMOND, Okla. - The Mulerider Women's Golf team delivered a strong performance at the Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational, held at Kickingbird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma, hosted by Southern Nazarene. The team finished tied for second with a total score of 610 (+50), posting rounds of 306 (+12) and 304 (+32) in the two-day tournament. They trailed only Southwestern Oklahoma State on the final leaderboard.

Aubrey Marx delivered a career-best performance, securing her first collegiate tournament victory with a total score of 146 (+6) to finish tied for first. She opened with a 76 (+6) in the first round, positioning herself outside the top contenders. However, she rebounded in spectacular fashion on the second day, firing an even-par 70 to climb an impressive 20 spots on the leaderboard. Her ability to remain composed under pressure and improve her play in the final round proved crucial in claiming the title. Marx's victory is a significant milestone for the Mulerider Women's Golf program, as she becomes the first individual tournament champion since Helle Leed's win in the fall of 2017.

Viviana Farias delivered a consistent performance, finishing tied for 19th with a total score of 152 (+12). She posted back-to-back rounds of 76, maintaining steady play throughout the tournament.

Taylor-Rose Hubbard also had a strong showing, tying for 23rd with a total score of 153 (+13). She opened with a 77 in the first round and improved slightly with a 76 in the second, contributing to the team's overall success.

Brianna Chamoun tied for 53rd with a total score of 161 (+21), scoring 77 in the opening round and 84 in the second round.

Emma Hester rounded out the team's effort, finishing tied for 62nd with a total score of 164 (+24), going 82 in both rounds.
