RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference announced its weekly honors for softball on Monday, March 24. Being named the GAC's Pitcher of the Week for the sixth time this season and the fourth week in a row was Brinson Rogers.
 
With Rogers claiming her sixth GAC Pitcher of the Week honor, she has now accounted for the second-most of the title in a single season behind only Kayleigh Jones of Oklahoma Baptist back in 2023 when Jones recorded eight Pitcher of the Week plaudits.
 
The Statesboro, Georgia native continues her dominance in the league as Rogers accounted for her 18^th victory last weekend with 14.0 innings pitched, just six hits allowed, four walks, 25 strikeouts, and no runs allowed. For ten straight appearances, the senior has not allowed a run to be plated against the Muleriders' defense.
 
After another shutout weekend, Rogers has now decreased her season ERA to 0.79, which remains the GAC's best ERA and is eighth in Division II. She has also increased her strikeout total with 173 this campaign and continues to reign as the DII leader and is second in the NCAA (DI, DII, DIII) as she is only behind Maya Johnson of DI Belmont.
 
Rogers and the Team 27 are back in action this weekend inside at Dawson Field inside the Dr. Margaret Downing Softball Complex for the unit's conference series against the Henderson State Reddies.
