MAGNOLIA, Ark. - The Mulerider Tennis team is set for a competitive and busy spring break as they embark on a road trip through Missouri and Kansas. Entering the week with both teams ranked within the nation's Top-50, the Muleriders will face a strong lineup of opponents, including Southwest Baptist, Rockhurst, Northwest Missouri, Missouri Western, and Washburn.
Two Mulerider women, Amelie Gindl and Josie Holderbach, continue to make waves on the national stage. Gindl is currently ranked No. 5 in the national singles rankings, while Holderbach holds the No. 23 spot, further showcasing the strength of the Mulerider roster.
On the men's side, Tim Fischer holds a national singles ranking of No. 39, while Mathys Pinoit is ranked No. 51. In doubles play, Fischer and Uwe Diehl are ranked No. 24, while Fischer also pairs with Pinoit to hold the No. 39 spot in the national rankings.
The Muleriders will begin their road trip on Tuesday, March 25, with a match against Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri, at 1 p.m. The journey continues on Wednesday, March 26, as they take on Rockhurst in Kansas City, Missouri, at 1:30 p.m. On Thursday, March 27, the Muleriders will face Northwest Missouri in Maryville, Missouri, at 11 a.m. The women's team will then meet Missouri Western on Friday, March 28, in St. Joseph, Missouri, with play scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. The trip concludes with a tough test on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, as both teams go up against nationally ranked top-10 opponent Washburn in Topeka, Kansas— the men's match set for 2 p.m. on Saturday and the women's match is set for 10 a.m. on Sunday.
