MAGNOLIA, Ark. - The Southern Arkansas Mulerider women's golf team is set to begin their spring season at the two-day Rattler Invitational, held at the Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas, on February 24-25. The team will be represented by Brianna Chamoun, Viviana Farias, Emma Hester, Taylor-Rose Hubbard, and Aubrey Marx.
The Muleriders put together a solid performance during the 2024 fall season, highlighted by a fifth-place finish at Henderson State's Battle for the Belt, where they posted scores of 300-297-320 for a total of 917 (+53). They also secured a seventh-place finish at the Northeastern Women's Classic, shooting a team score of 298 (+14).
Individually, freshman Brianna Chamoun had an impressive fall, finishing tied for ninth at both the Tulsa Cup and the Northeastern Women's Classic. At the Tulsa Cup, she carded a 233 (+17) to place inside the top ten. Junior Aubrey Marx also made her mark, finishing seventh at Battle for the Belt with a score of 224 (+8).
The Muleriders are eager to return to action this spring as they are set to tee off on Monday (Feb. 24).
