ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis team faced Central Arkansas in a doubleheader indoors in Arkadelphia, Arkansas this weekend. Despite their efforts, the Muleridesr were narrowly defeated in both matches, with final scores of 4-3 and 4-1.
In the first match, the Muleriders earned three points through singles victories. Josie Holderbach secured a win at line two with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 10-6, while Maria Fiacan claimed victory at line three with a 6-2, 7-6 (3). Roksana Kokocha rounded out the wins at line five, defeating her opponent 6-3, 6-4.
In the second match, Southern Arkansas suffered two three-set losses and their only singles victory came from Fiacan at line three with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 10-4.
The Muleriders are heading to Memphis, Tennessee this weekend to face West Florida and West Alabama.
