What seemed like a "how the turn tables" moment came in the third period as SAU closed down the point gap to seven at 49-56 after the Blue and Gold was down by as much as 22 points in the second period (18-40). The Bisons did not let SAU hang around for too long though as the unit the dominated the final quarter of action 6-17 for the final 55-73 score.

The Muleriders saw the downfall come after SAU was out rebounded 28-49 and were fouled 29 times compared the Harding's 17. The Bisons saw nine more points from free throw opportunities.
