#18 Muleriders Set for Indoor Battle Against Central Arkansas in Weekend Doubleheader

MAGNOLIA, Ark. - The Muleriders are set to travel to Arkadelphia this weekend for a doubleheader against Central Arkansas. Southern Arkansas opened its 2025 season in late January with a pair of exhibition matches against Louisiana Tech and Louisiana Christian. Despite a 2-5 loss to Louisiana Tech, the team rebounded with a commanding 4-0 victory over Louisiana Christian.

Sophomore duo Amelie Gindl and Josie Holderbach remained unbeaten in doubles play, while Gindl also maintained a perfect singles record. Newcomer Ifigeneia Kafka made an impressive debut, securing a 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 comeback win against Louisiana Tech. Teaming up with Maria Fiacan in doubles, the pair dominated LCU with a 6-2 victory before Fiacan delivered a decisive 6-0, 6-2 singles win over LCU's Patricia Principal.
