MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Men's Tennis team has released their 2026 spring schedule ahead of their first tournament in February.
 
After a strong showing at the GAC individual championships to end the fall portion of their season which saw the men win four out of the five flights taking place. Sebastian De Las Salas, Lucas Nitzschke, Jonas Sommer, and Shun Wakino all won their singles flights while De Las Salas and Balsa Djokovic claimed their doubles flight.
 
The 2026 schedule includes nine home matches on the Live Oak Courts on the campus of Southern Arkansas University. The season will get under way as the men make a trip to Dallas, Texas were they will play three matches in two days first against UT-Dallas and Weatherford College on February 6th followed by a match against Western New Mexico University on February 7th.
 
The men will then make their way to Tyler, Texas where they play three matches in three days beginning on February 20th and wrapping up on the 22nd. The trip to East Texas will include matches against teams such as UT-Tyler, Lubbock Christian, and UT-Permian Basin.
 
SAU then returns home to Magnolia for another three matches in three days to finish February and begin march this time against Southwest Baptist (Feb. 27), Cowley County Community College (Feb. 28) (Exhibition), and ending with Delta State (Mar. 1st).
 
The Muleriders will also play host to two MIAA/GAC conference matches as Northeastern State comes to town on March 14th followed by Harding University on April 14th. The 2026 schedule also includes games against conference foes that will not be counted towards conference rankings such as Northwest Missouri State, Emporia State, and Washburn. The schedule also includes both trips to Florida and Alabama.
