Mulerider Volleyball take on Centenary Ladies for Tuesday night battle

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Volleyball (8-14 | 3-6 GAC) is back in action and on the road once more before opening action back up inside the W.T. Watson Center. The group will look to pull out a win before getting back home, as the Muleriders will travel to Shreveport, Louisiana to face the Centenary College Ladies (2-15 | 1-9 SCAC) on Tuesday at 6:00 PM inside the Gold Dome.

A Look at SAU
Southern Arkansas is in search for a much-needed bounce back after dropping both road matches last weekend at Oklahoma Baptist (L, 3-1) and Southern Nazarene (L, 3-2).

Despite the pair of losses, the Muleriders still saw plenty of significant production in the last weekend's outings. This includes Brinklee Dauenhauer, Allie Cooper, Hayden Pinard, and Sadie Kabisch.

In last weekend's two matches, Dauenhauer recorded 36 kills on her 99 attacks with just 13 attack errors, accounting for a .232 attack percentage from the weekend. The junior from Springtown, Texas tallied her seventh and eighth matches this season with a double-double, as Dauenhauer recorded 19 kills and 12 digs at Oklahoma Baptist (Oct. 16), and followed the performance with a 17 kill and 11 digs outing at Southern Nazarene (Oct. 17).

Cooper showed out offensively and defensively for the Blue and Gold last weekend, as the junior accounted for 25 kills on 51 attack attempts with only five attack errors, recording a .392 hitting percentage, while also leading the team for total blocks with her 5.0 total blocks (2 solos | 3 assists).

Pinard, once more, led the team in assists, as the junior from the Beaver State led the group with 52 assists while also recording just her second 30+ assist match this season with 30 against SNU. In that same outing, the Roseburg, Oregon native, recorded her ninth match with a double-double, after tallying 14 digs along with her 30 assists.

With 49 digs on the weekend, Kabisch led the way for the Muleriders in digs. The Henrietta, Texas native marked up 20+ dig outings in both matches from the weekend, with a weekend high of 27 at Oklahoma Baptist. Kabisch also ranks second nationally, and in the GAC, for digs with her 463.

The Muleriders lead the Great American Conference (GAC) in multiple categories, such as team kills (1,054 | 9th DII), team assists (988 | 6th DII), and total team attacks (3,241 | 4th DII). The group also ranks second in the league for team digs (1,495 | 5th DII), and attacks per set (38.58 | 21st DII).

The Ladies enter the contest in search for a revival as the group has lost their last eight outings, with their last win coming against Ozarks on September 28, 3-1. Before then, the group had only won their first match of the season against Wiley, 3-1.
