MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Mulerider Women's Tennis team is traveling to Edmond, Oklahoma this weekend to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Championship hosted by Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. The team will compete in both singles and doubles play as they are looking to qualify for the ITA Cup.
The Mulerider Women have claimed four Flight titles this season including two Flight 1 titles by
Amelie Gindl, one Flight 2 title by
Maria Fiacan, and one Flight 2 title by
Roksana Kokocha.
The Muleriders competing in this year's ITA Regionals are Gindl,
Josie Holderbach, Fiacan, Kokocha,
Inna Serpukhova, and
Camila Corrales. Holderbach and Serpukhova participated in this event last fall where Holderbach lost in a third-set tiebreaker in the second round of the tournament's 'A' draw. Serpukhova placed third in the tournament's doubles 'B' consolation draw together with
Amber Young.

The tournament is starting on Friday (Sep. 20) morning and will run through to Sunday (Sep. 22).
