Jonesboro, Ark. – The Mulerider Women concluded their time in Jonesboro in tremendous fashion as the group recorded 29 top-ten finishes in which 12 placed inside the top-five and the team saw four wins throughout all competitions. The meet held ten teams including SAU that included programs from NCAA Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA.
*The 4x100 team cruised past competitors as the squad (
Edriana Hunter,
Kamryn Floyd,
Katelynn Hogg, and
Jordan Collins) finished first and outran their foes by at least a second as they clocked in at 47.53.
*As stated previously, Southern Arkansas accounted for a win in four separate events as J. Collins claimed both the 200m and 400m. In the 200m, the sophomore posted a time of 24.51 and then clocked in at 57.73 in the 400m. Freshman
Kamryn Floyd was crowned the winner of the 100m as she recorded a new program record of 12.01 with just 1.6 wind aid to win the event.
Kailyn Thomas earned the win in the hammer throw as the junior slung the weight for 161' 8".
*The nearest Mulerider to Floyd in the 100m was
Wil'Lexis Beaver as the sophomore recorded a time of 12.32 to place fourth among the 21 competitors in the event.
*Floyd notched another top-five spot in the 200m as the freshman placed second behind Collins with her time of 24.75
*Alongside Collins in the 400m was
Jayla Davila who also placed inside the top-five as she claimed fifth as she recorded a time of 1:00.7 among the 12 runners in the event.
*Among 18 athletes,
Devlin Rivera finished the 100m hurdles in fourth-place as the Mulerider clocked in at 14.64 with 2.2 wind aid. Rivera managed to account for a tip-five spot in the triple jump with her tri-leap of 37' 2.25" with 2.1 wind aid to place fourth.

Irieyanna Wilson had the most impressive outing at shot put as the Lone Star native heaved the shot for 43' 9.25" and placed third among the 22 entries. Where Wilson put her shot tied for her personal record that she had set around this time last season at the Great American Conference Championships. Wilson earned another top-five placement in the hammer throw as she lugged the weight for 142' 9" to place fourth.

Kailyn Thomas managed to place inside the top-five of all three throwing implements as the junior placed fourth in shot put (40' 9"), second in the discus throw (146' 6"), and her first-place spot in the hammer throw.
