MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Volleyball concluded its regular season with a hard-fought loss at home against the Harding Lady Bisons, bowing out in four sets. The match, held at the W.T. Watson Center on Thursday night, November 14, 2024, also served as a farewell to ten outstanding seniors.
The Blue and Gold started strong, showing signs of an upset against the second-seeded Bisons by securing a decisive 25-15 victory in the first set, energizing the enthusiastic Mulerider crowd.
However, Harding regrouped and dominated the second set, winning 25-8.
In the third set, Harding appeared to be on the verge of another victory, leading 24-17. The Muleriders, however, demonstrated resilience, rallying off six-consecutive points to bring the set within one at 24-23. Despite their efforts, SAU was unable to secure the set, losing 25-23 when Harding responded with a crucial kill.
The fourth set was a back-and-forth contest until Harding pulled ahead with three straight points for an 18-13 lead. After exchanging points, the Bisons went on a 6-2 run, clinching the match and ending the Muleriders' season.
Jada Hudson, a senior from Grand View, Texas, delivered a standout performance on her senior night, recording 13 kills on 42 attempts while also contributing 13 digs and two blocks (one solo and one assisted). With these stats, Hudson achieved her second double-double of the season.

Kayte Delong and
Isla Olivas also performed well in their final game at the W.T. Watson Center, each recording eight kills. Olivas achieved her kills on 16 attacks but had four attack errors, while Delong added three blocks with two solo blocks and one assisted block.
With this loss, and following a Henderson State victory against Arkansas-Monticello, Mulerider Volleyball finished the 2024 season with a record of 12-12 overall and 6-10 in the Great American Conference.
