MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis came out on top defeating Southeastern Oklahoma State in a 4-3 decision to close out Great American Conference play on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon from the Live Oak Tennis Courts. The Muleriders snapped a two-match losing streak to the Savage Storm and improve to 2-2 against SOSU since 2018-19. It is the fourth-straight win for SAU and

The Mulerider Women came out with full force as
Kalley Smith and
Greta Wallin won 6-3 at line one doubles. The Muleriders secured the doubles point with a win at line two by
Lena Milosevic and
Annika Berrendorf in a comfortable decision of 6-2.
In singles play, the momentum continued for SAU as the Muleriders won at lines two, three and four. Milosevic, current GAC Player of the Week, pushed past Southeastern's Sara Gonzalez 6-2, 6-3. At line four Wallin topped Michelle Markovic 6-0, 6-4 to bring another win for the Muleriders. Berrendorf closed out the day for the SAU Women securing the win with a 6-4, 6-3 battle at line number three.
The Mulerider Women return to action on Friday, April 14 at the Live Oak Tennis Courts for a 2 p.m. match against Texas A&M-Texarkana. SAU will conclude the regular season on Saturday with an 11 a.m. first serve against Washburn. Live coverage links will be available on www.MuleriderAthletics.com.
