Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Women's Tennis team continued their win streak on Monday afternoon as Greg Owen's Muleriders won convincingly over Emporia State in a 6-1 decision at the Live Oak Tennis Courts.
Southern Arkansas took the first point as the doubles team of Kalley Smith and Greta Wallin won 6-3 over Alexia Desmet and Angelina Gnezdilova at doubles No. 1, while Honoka Yoshimura and Tamiya Lintz shutout the hornets Caroline Henry and Andrea Santiago 6-1 at doubles No. 3. Southern Arkansas took the doubles point into the dominant singles play that followed.
In singles action, the Muleriders won at lines one, two, three, four and five. Roy was victorious at No. 1 with a 6-3 6-3 decision against Alexia Desmet. Milosevic won 6-3 6-1 to defeat Angelina Gnezdilova at No. 2. Berrendorf claimed the win at No.3 as she defeated Santiago 6-2 6-1. At No. 4 Greta Wallin battled to put away Anastasia Pesic 6-3 7-6 (2), while Serpukhova won at No. 6 with a 6-4 6-2 result against Stranghoner.
