Muleriders blow by Christin Brothers; cross over century-mark for third time

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Muleriders traveled to the "Grind City" and came out on top 101-59 over Christian Brothers with their third 100+ point ballgame of the season. SAU proved to be tough on the road just like they are at home with their first road victory of the campaign ending similarly as most home matchups have.

Early in the opening period, this matchup seemed to be a tight matchup, but a 15-5 SAU scoring run would be the initial separation factor to put the Muleriders ahead 31-16 after one. The Lady Bucs closed down Southern Arkansas' large lead as they brought the game with six. SAU extended their lead back out to a 17-point advantage at half. Coming out of the half, the Muleriders never looked back at the competition as they cruised to the final score.

Southern Arkansas prevailed with 53% of their shots counting (35-66), 50% made from three (8-16), and making 23 free throws to add on to the point total. The 'Riders scored 41 points off of the lady Bucs turnovers while also having 49 points off of the bench and 38 fast break points. In total, the Muleriders accounted for 101 off of 66 shot attempts and 35 attempts from the line.
