MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Rainy weather has forced a change to #6/4 Southern Arkansas' midweek matchup with Arkansas-Monticello. The Muleriders and Weevils will meet on Wednesday in Magnolia for a 3 p.m. first pitch from inside Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field. Wednesday's meeting will be a non-league affair between the longtime south Arkansas rivals. Since the 2012 season, the first for the Great American Conference, the league's charter members have played 50 times with the Muleriders leading the series 34-16. UAM has won five of the past seven games, including four of the past six contests played in Magnolia. SAU is off to a 17-3 start to the season with a league-leading 11-1 record in GAC play. Arkansas-Monticello is 6-12 overall and 4-8 in league play.
