Magnolia, Ark - Mulerider Volleyball will head to Shreveport Louisiana to face the Centenary University Ladies in their 11th and final non-GAC matchup of the season on Tuesday, October 18. Heading into the contest the Muleriders are 4-17 on the season while the Ladies are posting a 9-17 record with a 3-5 home record. Every Centenary win has come in matchups outside of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Centenary is currently on a three-game losing streak, falling in straight sets in each of those contests. The teams have shared an opponent in the form of Tougaloo, who Muleriders beat 3-0 (25-5, 25-11, 25-16) on September 9th while Centenary won 3-1 (25-22, 25-23, 25-27, 25-14) on September 9th.
The Ladies are averaging 10.38 kills, 9,70 assists, 1.56 aces and 16.72 digs per set. The Muleriders average 11.05 kills, 10.21 assists, 1.27 service aces and 15.19 digs per set. Jaylin St. Martin (202) and Liz Lowe (200) have both reached the 200-kill mark for the Ladies. Rachel Demerjian leads the team with 392 assists, followed closely by Meadow Smith with 372. Three Ladies have elapsed 20 service aces, Liz Lowe (27), Demerjian (26) and Smith (25). Jaycie Proctor has recorded a hefty 438 digs while another 6 athletes have passed the 100-dig mark.
Landry Rogers has a significant lead over the rest of the Muleriders with 215 kills while Morgan Schuster tops the team with an impressive 522 assists. Rogers also leads the Riders with an average 3.30 points per set while Anna Crittenden (2.51), Lauryn Moultrie (2.10) and Isla Olivas (2.08) are also averaging more the two points per set.
