MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Athletic Department and the Mulerider Club Advisory Board have announced that the seventh-annual Mulerider Club Spring Supper Fundraiser will take place on Monday, April 12 starting at 5:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. at Bodcaw Bank located at 2125 N Jackson in Magnolia. Due to the continual observation of COVID-19 protocols, this year's event will be drive-thru only.
"We look forward to events like the Spring Supper Fundraiser as it is one of the many ways that our department strives to keep the Mulerider Club viable each and every year," noted SAU Director of Athletics
Steve Browning. "We would like to say a big "Thank You" to Bodcaw Bank and Marlar's Cafeteria for their involvement in this year's event and for all that they do for Mulerider Athletics. Although we won't be able to fellowship with one another like we have been in years past, we are excited for the potential turnout in support of Mulerider Athletics' student-athletes and coaches."
This year's Spring Supper Fundraiser tickets are being sold for $20 each and are available for purchase online at
www.MuleriderAthletics.com/tickets. Tickets can also be purchased from any Mulerider Club Advisory Board member or by contacting Athletic Department Secretary
Lynn Disotell at 870-235-4102. No tickets will be sold at the event.
The meal will feature a generously-portioned center cut pork steak as the main course and will also include the following sides which are provided by Marlar's Cafeteria: hash brown casserole, special green beans, roll and dessert.
