EmpMAGNOLIA, Ark. – (RV) Southern Arkansas picked up its second in-region win in as many days on Wednesday afternoon from the Live Oaks Tennis Courts as the Mulerider Women topped Emporia State 5-2 to improve to 5-1 on the season following the team's third-straight victory. SAU moves to 14-0 at home since the start of the 2018-19 season. Emporia State drops to 3-2 on the season.

Kalley Smith clinched the match for SAU with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at line six. She teamed up with freshman
Anaelle Lepinay to take the first doubles match of the afternoon as the duo defeated ESU's Shannen Meyer and Silvana Caceres 6-1.
The Muleriders return to action this weekend for three matches at the highly competitive San Antonio Spring Fling.
