MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas knocked off its second conference opponent in as many days on Wednesday as the Mulerider Men dropped Emporia State (3-3) 7-0 to move to 2-0 in MIAA-GAC play and to 5-2 overall. The Muleriders move their Division II home record to 12-0 all-time. SAU returns to play this weekend for three highly competitive matches at the San Antonio Spring Fling.
Southern Arkansas quickly jumped out to a lead after claiming the doubles point and then used a line one victory by Stuart Rehfuss to facilitate a singles sweep as Iker Brull finished the match off at line six with a victory; his first of the spring.
