Box Score MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The cold, low-40s temperature did not phase (RV) Southern Arkansas on Thursday afternoon as the Mulerider Women recovered from a defeat in doubles play to sweep singles action, in which they did not drop a set, to down Arkansas Tech 6-1 in non-conference action from the Live Oaks Tennis Courts. The victory is the 12
th straight at home and fourth straight over ATU dating back to the start of last season.
Thursday's meeting was a battle of Central Region Top 10 teams as the Muleriders entered ranked No. 2 in the region, while Tech stood at No. 6.

Anaelle Lepinay put the Muleriders on the board with a victory at line four, before sophomore
Simone Simas gave SAU the lead at line six with a 6-2, 6-2 defeat of ATU's Megan Bell.
As a team, SAU is now 12-0 in singles play through two matches this season.
The Muleriders return to action on February 22 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a pair of matches with former Central Region foe No. 20 Southwest Baptist and JUCO No. 9 Seward County Community College.
