Russellville, Ark. – The SAU Volleyball team, traveling up to Tucker Coliseum for a matchup against the Golden Suns, stayed close to Arkansas Tech in set one – ultimately dropping the set 25-20 – before dropping sets two and three 25-14 and 25-12.

Seven Powers led all Muleriders in the attacking effort, recording seven of the team's 22 kills on the evening. The senior also led the team in digs with 11.

Morgan Schuster recorded all of the Muleriders' 21 assists, and Bailey Cagle downed a pair of kills as well as recording a game-high four blocks.

The Muleriders return to action on Thursday as the host their home opener in a Battle of the Timberlands matchup against Arkansas-Monticello.
