MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis team picked up its 20
th win of the season on Friday afternoon as the Lady Muleriders defeated Arkansas Tech 4-1 in Great American Conference play. It was the sixth-consecutive win for the squad and it moves the team's league record to 4-0 with two conference matches remaining. Friday's win served as the regular season finale for the team in their first season of NCAA competition since 2011-12.
The doubles teams of
Joanna Nowakowska and
Angela Vargas and
Lena Milosevic and
Serena Gill both picked up 6-3 wins in as SAU secured the first point of the match early on in the afternoon.
In singles competition, Vargas at line three and Gill at line six picked up wins and Milosevic won her contest at line five as the Lady Muleriders put away the Golden Suns.

On Friday, the Lady Muleriders conclude the regular season in Midlothian, Texas with a 3:30 p.m. match against #21 Angelo State.
