LAWTON, Okla. – The Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to #11 Central Oklahoma on Friday afternoon. The defeat to the nationally-prominent Bronchos is just the second loss to a Division II opponent for the SAU Women this season. Southern Arkansas will have Saturday off before traveling down to Wichita Falls, Texas, for a pair of matches on Sunday, March 10. The Lady Muleriders will look to rebound as they meet Metro State-Denver at 8 a.m. before battling with #14 Midwestern State at 1 p.m.

Angela Vargas each battle back to force 5-4 scores in their respective second sets after both players fell 6-1 in their opening sets.
Central Oklahoma improves to 4-2 on the season. The two losses for the UCO Women this campaign have come at the hands of Division I competition: a 4-3 loss to New Mexico State and a 5-2 defeat to the University of Texas-El Paso.
