MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis picked up their tenth win of the season on a cold Monday afternoon at the Live Oaks Tennis Courts as freshman
Serena Gill, the Lady Muleriders' line six player, rallied to force a third set that she would go on to win as the SAU Women knocked off No. 17 Northeastern State 4-3; the program's first Top 25 win in Southern Arkansas' Division II Era (1995-96). The RiverHawks were also ranked No. 2 in the Central Region.
The Lady Muleriders (10-2) started out hot in the chilly affair as the squad claimed the doubles point, while SAU's four and five line players, freshmen

Lena Milosevic, joined Gill in claiming singles wins. Two of the six singles matches went three sets as junior
Joanna Nowakowska battled NSU's line two player Mayra Jovic, while Gill rallied from a 7-5 defeat to Emma Warnock in the opening set to take the final two sets 6-2 and 6-1 to clinch the historic win.
The Lady Muleriders welcome in Southeastern Oklahoma State on Tuesday, March 5 as they open up Great American Conference play with a 10 a.m. match against the Savage Storm from the Live Oaks Tennis Courts in Magnolia.
