MAGNOLIA, Ark. – After rainy, wet conditions on Saturday pushed the SAU Women's Great American Conference match with Oklahoma Baptist to Sunday, the Lady Muleriders made the most of the beautiful weather as the squad put away the Bison 6-1 to improve to 18-4 overall and 2-0 in league play with their fourth-consecutive win.
Joanna Nowakowska outlasted OBU's Ethne Dowling 6-1, 7-5 in the closest match of the afternoon; an afternoon that began with a sweep by SAU in the doubles competition.
Lena Milosevic and
Serena Gill topped the Bison's Tahlia Walsh and Stefy Varon 6-0 and the two went on to claim singles victories as well.
The Lady Muleriders host Harding as GAC play continues on Tuesday, April 2 at 2 p.m. from the Live Oaks Tennis Courts. Results will be made available following the match at
