Joanna Nowakowska took the Patriot's Taylor Leslie to three sets before coming out on top 6-3, 2-6, 10-6. Freshman
Angela Vargas toppled DBU's line three player Adriana Carpenter 6-2, 6-2.
With Dallas Baptist claiming a singles point on line four after taking the doubles point, two singles matches remained to determine a winner and Milosevic's dismissing of Austin-Canning proved the winner, while classmate
Serena Gill's 6-3, 2-1 match over Ira Voglemann that was left undecided.
In Saturday morning's early opener, the Lady Muleriders had no problems with the Cardinals as all three doubles matches ended 6-0, while nine combined sets in the singles matches went by way of 6-0 or 6-1 in favor of Southern Arkansas.
The two wins on Saturday pushes the team's win streak to five and the Lady Muleriders will put that streak on the line as they face nationally-ranked Northeastern State on Monday, March 4, in Magnolia. First-serve with the No. 17 RiverHawks is set for 1 p.m. from the Live Oaks Tennis Courts.
