CLEVELAND, Miss. – #19/15 Southern Arkansas Baseball suffered a 10-1 loss to #14/12 Delta State on Wednesday evening from Ferriss Field in Cleveland, Mississippi. It was the third time this season that the two former Gulf South Conference foes have played.
The Muleriders (19-9) managed four hits in the loss and all four were doubles as junior
Cooper King delivered a pair, while senior

Zach Muldoon each added a two-bagger. The lone RBI came from the bat of
Devin Beard as his third-inning sacrifice fly plated King who reached after hitting his first double of the night.
Hindering the Muleriders in the defeat was eight runners left on the base paths as SAU stranded the bases loaded in the fifth inning, a single runner in the sixth and two runners in both the seventh and eighth innings.
SAU employed five pitchers on Wednesday with freshman
Parker Abrego receiving the start. Abrego went 3.0 innings and allowed just two hits and a run. Austin and
Nathan Stubber worked the next three innings combined and allowed six runs on six hits, while freshman
Braydon Todd and junior
