| Box Score 2 MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Men's and Women's Tennis teams, which are in the midst of program reboots as well as impressive first seasons back in action, concluded a successful spring break swing in Alabama this past week. The SAU Women posted a 3-1 record, while the SAU Men went 2-2.
 
Additionally, it was announced during last week by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association that both teams are currently ranked in the Top 30 of each's respective Division II Team Rankings. The Lady Muleriders appear in the ITA's National Ranking for the first time in program history and occupy the No. 24 slot nationally, while the Muleriders, after receiving votes in the spring's first rankings, are now ranked No. 28 in the country.

For the Southern Arkansas Women, last week's action in the Yellowhammer State saw the Lady Muleriders bounce back from a 7-0 defeat to West Alabama; ITA's 14^th ranked team in Division II, to win their final three matches: 6-1 vs. Auburn-Montgomery, 5-2 vs. Montevallo, and 7-0 over Alabama-Huntsville.

All three of SAU's Division II losses this season are to teams currently positioned in the ITA's Top 13: No. 4 Central Oklahoma, No. 8 Washburn and aforementioned UWA.
 
The SAU Men suffered a pair of 6-1 losses to #23 West Alabama and Montevallo. The Muleriders' wins, both tight 4-3 decisions, came against No. 38 Auburn-Montgomery and Alabama-Huntsville.

Two of the SAU Men's three Division II losses have come against opponents that currently hold a Top 50 ranking: #23 UWA and #49 Texas-Permian Basin.
 
The final stretch of the season begins this coming week as both teams prepare for more Great American Conference competition. Each team is 1-0 in league play after earning wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Muleriders travel to Arkadelphia on Thursday, March 28 to face Ouachita in league action and will return home for a Saturday, March 30 match with Oklahoma Baptist at 11 a.m. The Southern Arkansas Women aren't in action until Saturday's meeting with the Bison at the Live Oaks Tennis Courts.
