Arkadelphia, Ark. – The SAU Softball team left the Ronnie Hawkins Memorial with three wins after defeating in-region competition on Saturday to improve to a 3-0 record on the season in a doubleheader where the Muleriders only allowed three hits over two games.
In game one, the Muleriders eked out a 1-0 victory over Rogers State courtesy of a
Rachel Miller double down the left field line in the seventh inning that scored
Hallie Saintignan. For the game, the Muleriders only mustered four hits but
Victoria Taylor held the Hillcats hitless through 6.2 innings before an Allie McFetridge single broke up the junior's bid to follow up her perfect game yesterday with a no-hitter in this game.

Sarah Evans hit by pitch. Saintignan scored on an error, and Suesue hit an inside the park homerun that plated three runs. In total, the Muleriders scored seven runs in the bottom of the second.
