MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Southern Arkansas Men's and Women's Tennis teams returned to action for the first time in 2019 this past weekend in Memphis and on Friday each earned the program's first team wins since the both programs were revived for competition in the fall of 2017. The Muleriders and Lady Muleriders each topped Spring Hill College 6-1 in their respective openers, before sweeping the day on Saturday as the SAU Men defeated Christian Brothers (7-0) and Rhodes College (9-0), while the SAU Women took down Christian Brothers (6-1) and West Georgia (7-0).
Southern Arkansas returns to the court this weekend in Midlothian, Texas for in-region matchups with Washburn on Friday, February 15 at 3:30 p.m. and against Texas-Permian Basin on Saturday, February 16 at 10 a.m. For continuing coverage of Mulerider Men's and Women's Tennis, visit
