Despite the defeat, Southern Arkansas won the battle on the glass as they outrebounded the Panthers 46-28 which included grabbing ten more offensive rebounds than Drury. The Muleriders shot 40% (23-of-57) from the floor overall and 26.7% (8-of-30) from three-point range.
In the second half, the Muleriders' surge was engineered by a 50% (7-of-14) from three-point range which was part of a 55.2% success rate from the floor. Southern Arkansas outscored Drury 42-40 in the second half after trailing 26-16 at the intermission.
