MAGNOLIA, Ark. The Southern Arkansas men's baseball team picked up a midweek win over Texas A&M - Texarkana on Wednesday that saw 
Hunter Brantley pick up his first career win for SAU on the mound, and clutch hitting that led to an eventual victory of 8-7.

HIGHLIGHTS & HAPPENINGS
	- In the third inning, TAMUT strung together seven hits that resulted in a six-run lead over the Muleriders before SAU would get half of those back in the home-half of that frame.
- Kane Koenigseder led-off with a single to center and later scored SAU's first run on a wild pitch.
- In that same frame, Austin Baker won an 8-pitch at-bat and drew a walk after Koenigseder's hit, followed by a walk to Jake Tisevich, where both would later score on an RBI base-hit off the bat of Jacob Richardson to make it 6-3, TAMUT.
- Both offenses added a run apiece in the fourth that brought the score to 7-4, TAMUT, and Southern Arkansas would knot the game at 7-all in the following inning after scoring three runs on a hit.
- Baker plated the tying run in that frame to make it 7-7, and Jacob Richardson singled home the go-ahead run in the next inning to give SAU the lead, 8-7.
- Hunter Brantley was called to the mound in the fifth inning where he would allow just two hits, and held the Eagles hitless and scoreless through the next three innings of action to come away with his first career win from the hill, and Eric White would come in in the ninth to close out the contest and pick up his seventh save on the season.

	- SAU combined for eight runs on 10 hits and walked ten times
- Richardson led SAU with 3 RBIs in his 2-for-4 effort at the dish
- James Trevanion, Dakota Wright, Cole Boyd, and Riley Orr each tallied an RBI
