Magnolia, AR – The SAU Volleyball team will conclude their 2018 season Thursday in Arkadelphia as the Muleriders will take on Henderson State.
The Muleriders (8-20, 2-13 GAC) look to end their season on a high note against the Reddies (25-5, 12-3 GAC) who need a win to clinch the second seed in the GAC Tournament.
Sophomore
Morgan Gross and junior
Seven Powers lead the way for the Muleriders on the offensive side as both have over two kills per set (2.37 and 2.34 respectively), and freshman Cailtin Murdock is at 7.67 assists per set.
Freshman
Camryn Bihary has shown production in different aspects of the game. The only Mulerider to have played in every set this season, Bihary averages 4.51 digs per set and has 27 service aces on the season. Both marks lead the team, with the 4.51 digs per set good enough for sixth overall in the GAC.
Sophomore
Lauren Smith and freshman
Abby Bermudez set the pace for blocks, both eclipsing the 0.8 blocks per set mark this season (0.83 and 0.81 respectively).
