SAU Volleyball host Harding for Tuesday night tilt

Magnolia, AR – The SAU volleyball team hosts first-place Harding on Tuesday at the W.T. Watson Center, with the Muleriders needing a win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Muleriders (8-17, 2-10 GAC) currently sit two games back of current eighth-place team Northwest Oklahoma in the conference standings with four games remaining in the season. Harding (18-7, 11-1 GAC) will look to make it seven wins in a row and solidify their place atop the GAC standings.

The Muleriders, despite coming off a tight four set loss to Arkansas-Monticello on the weekend, had some impressive individual performances to build off of. Freshman Caitlin Murdock recorded 48 assists, the second-highest total for the Muleriders this season, and junior Seven Powers had 18 kills, the most in a four-set match for the Muleriders this season.

The Muleriders will host three of their final four games this season; however, it comes against tough competition. All four teams left on the Muleriders' schedule have already clinched a spot in the GAC Conference Tournament.

The contest is set to start at 6 p.m. For live stream and live in-game statistics, visit muleriderathletics.com.
