SEARCY, Ark. – The Lady Mulerider softball team's post season run came to an end on Saturday after losing 3-4 to Winona State in the Central Region Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the bottom of the first inning, SAU scratched the first run of the game and took the early lead as Tyler Casada singled home Jill Roye, who previously singled.
- SAU added a pair of runs in the third on a solo blast from Maddie Dow and an RBI single off the bat of Marina Duran to make it 3-0, SAU.
- Winona State captured the lead in the next inning after being aided a pair of errors. Three consecutive walks loaded the bases for the Warriors as they proceeded to score their runs on a fielding error, fielder's choice, and a 2 RBI single to make it 4-3, WSU.
- SAU put the tying run on in the bottom of that frame, but was unable to pull away with the hit to tie the game.
- SAU had the tying run on again in the bottom of the seventh as Jill Roye laced a single to right center, but the Lady Muleriders suffered the loss.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Jill Roye suffered the loss in the circle as she allowed four runs on three hits and struck out four.
- Victoria came in as relief and struck out four batters in 3.1 innings while only allowing a hit.
AT THE PLATE
- Dow had a solo bomb in the game.
- Casada was 1-for-3 at the dish with a run scored and an RBI.
- Duran was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
