BETHANY, Okla. – Leading for a majority of the game, the Southern Arkansas men's basketball team was upended late as Southern Nazarene came from behind to beat the Muleriders by a score of 68-64 on Thursday night at the Sawyer Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Muleriders got off to a great start in the game, racing out to an 8-1 advantage over the first couple minutes of play before Southern Nazarene went on an 8-0 run to take a slim one-point lead with 13:46 left in the first half. The Muleriders answered right back after that to regain the lead and led the remainder of the opening half, taking an eight-point lead into the locker room.
- Quickly out of the break, Keeton Tennison connected on a three-pointer to give the Muleriders their largest lead of the game, 11 points, with 19:17 to go.
- From there, the Muleriders remained out in front, but Southern Nazarene kept the deficit manageable and eventually regained the lead on a 3-pointer by Micah Speight with 3:09 remaining in regulation.
- Southern Nazarene then got a layup to go up by four, their largest margin of the game.
- CJ Elkins then went on a personal 4-0 run with a pair of free throws and a layup to knot the game at 64-all with 1:51 on the clock.
- With 56 seconds remaining, SNU broke the tie with a jumper in the paint by LB Willis. Moments later, the Crimson Storm benefitted from the alternating possession after a missed shot by the Muleriders resulted in a jump ball with just over 35 seconds left.
- The Crimson Storm then pushed it back to a four-point game and brought the score to its final of 68-64 on a jumper by Jhonathan Dunn with 14 seconds to go.
