WHO TO WATCH
- On Tuesday night, senior Alli O'Banion became just the second SAU player since 2000 to cap her career with 1,000 kills and 300 total blocks joining Maggie Ross who did it from 2006 to 2010. Earlier this season, the Dos Palos, California, native became just the third Lady Mulerider in the RSE to register 300 or more career blocks and is the program's RSE career leader in block assists with 271.
- Within the Great American Conference, O'Banion's 310 career total blocks entering the final match of her career are the fifth-most in league history, while her 1,005 kills make her just the eighth player in league history to eclipse the 1,000 career kills milestone.
- Senior Savannah Pillow enters the final match of her career with 743 career assists and six double-doubles. A native of Friendship, Tennessee, Pillow has also logged 31 career matches with double-digit assists and 13 career matches with double-digit digs.
- Senior Alexia Southern concludes her two-year stint with the Lady Muleriders tonight after having recorded double-digit kill totals in 24 matches, while also registering nine career double-doubles. The Reno, Nevada, native has produced 510 kills in two years for SAU.
- Three Lady Muleriders have recorded 200 or more kills this season led by Southern's 298 at 2.73 kills per set. O'Banion (253) and sophomore Seven Powers (221) round out hitters with 200 or more kills, while freshman Bailey Cagle is fourth with 135 kills at an efficient team-leading .258 hit clip.
- Sophomore Alexa Bass logged two triple-doubles in the month of the October as she became the first Lady Mulerider with two such performances in the RSE. Only four triple-doubles have been recorded since 2000 in program history and Bass owns two of those, while falling three kills shy of her third such performance in SAU's most recent win over UAM. Bass is one of six players in GAC history to record two or more triple-doubles in a career.
- Over half of SAU's 10.58 assists per set come from Bass as she owns the league's tenth-best per set mark at 6.41. Pillow adds 3.57 assists per set.
- Bass also leads six other Lady Muleriders in double digit service aces with 43. She currently ranks third in the GAC in service aces per set at 0.39.
- Cagle has played a pivotal role in SAU's front line defense during her freshman season as she leads the team with 91.0 total blocks at 0.83 per set. O'Banion follows with 76.0 total blocks, while freshman Lauren Smith (53.0), Southern (42.0), and Powers (38.0) have provided ample support for the Lady Muleriders' front line defense. SAU's 1.80 blocks per set are the sixth-best output in the GAC.
- Four Lady Muleriders have recorded 200 or more digs paced by sophomore Whitney Brown's 412 at 3.89 per set. Bass has added 267 digs with Southern (248) and sophomore Riley Marsh (220) also contributing in the backcourt.
