Marquee Match-Up on Homecoming

The Southern Arkansas football team returns home for its highly-anticipated
Homecoming game after consecutive road contests in the Sooner State. SAU's
two-game Oklahoma swing yielded very positive results as the Muleriders won both
games, and in the process, extended their winning streak out to three games.

Homecoming over the nine years has been really successful for the Muleriders
as they are unbeaten in their last nine homecoming games dating back to 2008 and
will look to make it 10 in a row against a tough opponent in Southeastern Oklahoma.

The last eight of the Mulerider triumphs have come under current head coach
Bill Keopple. Among those homecoming victories, SAU has defeated GAC-foes,
Arkansas Tech (2011 & 2008), Oklahoma Baptist (2015), Ouachita Baptist (2013 &
2009), and Southern Nazarene (2016, 2014 & 2012).

Despite losing their first game of the year last weekend, Southeastern figures to
come into the game nationally-ranked, and with SAU 5-2 overall and in the GAC, the
Muleriders will be playing for a share of first-place in the league standings.

About Southeastern Oklahoma
SCHEDULE
The Southeastern Oklahoma football team enters play this weekend with a 6-1 overall record and
are atop the Great American Conference standings with a matching 6-1 mark in league play. The
Savage Storm began the season 6-0 and were the last unbeaten team in the GAC, dropping their first
game in their most-recent outing at home against Henderson State. The win for the Reddies over
Southeastern Oklahoma extended their Division II record for consecutive road victories to 30.

THE COACH
The Savage Storm are coached by Bo Atterberry, who is in his fourth season as the head coach
of Southeastern Oklahoma. Coming into this week's game, Atterberry has amassed a 26-15 overall
record. In each of his first three years at his alma mater, Atterberry has led the Savage Storm to
a winning record with a high-win mark of seven, done his first year and this past year. Atterberry's
first year with the Savage Storm also saw a postseason appearance with a bid to the Live United
Bowl in 2014. Prior to his appointment at Southeastern, Atterberry was the head coach at Texas A&MKingsville
for six years. In his time at A&M-Kingsville, Atterberry registered a 41-28 record and led the
Javelinas to the NCAA Playoffs in consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.

SCOUTING THE OFFENSE
Offensively, the Savage Storm are averaging 34.6 points per game and 423.1 yards of total offense
per game as well with 234.1 of the yards coming through the air and the remaining 189.0 yards being
gained on the ground. Their points per game average ranks third in the GAC and their total offense is
fourth. Both their rushing offense and passing offense ranks sixth in the league.

The Savage Storm have used three different starting quarterbacks
this season with CB Cantwell, Rollin Kinsaul and Austin
Skinner all getting the call at least twice. Kinsaul and Skinner
have seen the most action with Kinsaul tossing the most TDs (6)
and Skinner the most yards (604). Cantwell was the starter a
year ago, but has not played since week two due to injury.

The Savage Storm's leading pass catcher is Jaylen Sims with
