MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Due to the cold and wintry forecast for Saturday morning in the Magnolia area, the location of "Camping with the Cardinals" has been moved. The free event will now take place at the Magnolia High School Indoor Facility (1400 High School Dr. Magnolia, AR 71753), located near the football field.
 
"Despite the forecasted weather outside on Saturday, we are very fortunate and excited to still offer this incredibly unique camp to our area youth," notes SAU Director of Athletics, Steve Browning. "We offer a huge thanks to the generosity of Magnolia High School and its baseball program for allowing us to use their indoor facility to ensure that this camp will take place."
 
The previously released schedule for the camp remains the same with pre-registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the camp getting under way at 9 a.m. and lasting until noon.
 
A large number of campers is expected, but camp t-shirts featuring the names of Michael Wacha and Jamie Pogue are limited to the first 200 kids. Additionally, with the change of venue, space for parents and general spectators will be limited inside the indoor facility, so it is asked that everyone remain mindful of that and adjust accordingly.
 
It is also recommended that participating campers and anyone attending the camp dress warm to ensure comfort despite being indoors.
