BETHANY, Okla. – The Lady Muleriders suffered a second-straight loss in as many days on Friday afternoon in Bethany as Southern Nazarene topped SAU in straight sets (23-25,18-25,14-25) inside the Sawyer Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern Arkansas fought to overcome an 18-13 deficit to tie the opening set at 23, before the Crimson Storm closed out the frame with the final two points.
- SAU opened scoring in the second set with the first two points, before Southern Nazarene answered by collecting 20 of the next 30 points to take a 20-12 advantage and eventually the set.
- With the momentum, the Crimson Storm cruised in the final frame as they led by as much as 13 to win by a final score of 25-14.
- The Lady Muleriders took a step back offensively as they hit just .061 (31-23-132), while the Crimson Storm registered 9.5 blocks and 67 digs and committed just 12 attack errors.

- Courtney Bowie recorded a game-high 11 kills and McKayla Benner added nine kills.
- Bowie and Kaitlyn Vought led the Crimson Storm with 4.0 blocks each.
- Abbey Bell logged 15 assists and Elyse Berlin commanded the offense with a game-high 30 assists.
